Fine extra virgin olive oil from the hills around Florence obtained from Frantoio and Moraiolo olives. Laudemio is the essence of the scents and flavors of Tuscany.
Selected Italian wheat only, high quality gluten, natural drying at low temperature: this is how Spaghettoni are created. Bronze drawn, in full respect of quality and tradition, their peculiar rough surface is due to the manufacturing machinery - which they used in the 50s already - allowing the pasta to better absorb the sauce. Spaghettoni are exceptionally tasty. Can you smell the wheat?

Fragrant, fluffy, intense. The Brutti ma Buoni biscuits with Pistachio (namely Ugly but Good) from Biscottificio Leonardo take shape in the very heart of Florence. The bakery overlooks the Sant’Ambrogio Market and has been running for over a century. Their recipe is kept secret: all what we know is that almonds and first choice pistachio are added to the sourdough dough: a touch of sweetness and fragrance. Delicious eaten alone - and not ugly at all - they are extraordinary paired with a good vin santo.

Intense, flavoured, unmissable. The “10+1” is a tribute to the tradition of the Italian espresso. The blend embraces ten varieties of Arabica coffee in beans of the highest quality and a variant of the Robusta type, which ensures a velvety and persistent taste. Thanks to the experience and culture of coffee that indissolubly interlace the scented beans to this historical roasting. An irresistible fragrance, a unique aroma.

Creamy, tasty, precious. The Zolfino bean is grown, harvested and packaged exclusively in this territory. The selection of the seeds is carried out by hand to guarantee its authenticity. The creaminess of the Zolfino bean is unmistakable, along with its ability to withstand cooking. Its skin is extra thin - almost invisible - and it is highly digestible. As a valuable pairing for a tasty dish it guarantees a culinary experience of maximum enjoyment!

Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc. The Chianti DOCG from Fattoria Montereggi originates from these wine varietals. Grapevines spread on the hills surrounding Fiesole, the Mons Regis (Mount of the King) where the farm finds place and there, almost a century ago, the production of wine begun. Fresh and juicy, the bright ruby red colour of this Chianti is mesmerizing. At least as the taste is.

Description

Discover the Box Florence L

Florence is the cradle of the Renaissance. It is also the place where the Italian language began to grow its roots and flourished in Dante’s work: it is a land of beauty and culture. In the Florence Box L you will discover a land rich of tastiness, unique and special.

From the streets of central Florence, the tradition of the artisan production can be found in a package of salty biscuits flavoured with rosemary and sage. Between an old biscuit factory producing exaggeratedly good pistachio biscuits and a historic roasting plant producing artisanal coffee, you end up getting lost in the green. In the part of Firenze Castello, in search of brambles, we can pick juicy fruits that were already used in Renaissance recipes for jams.

The path continues and we are caressed by the hills of Fiesole, on which olive groves stretch as far as the eye can see. Little by little we enter an area rich in excellence: here is Chianti, where we are greeted by tales of ancient pasta makers.

It is time to explore the crags of the Valdarno, said to be the backdrop to the Mona Lisa, among fields tended to perfection by the hand of man and dedicated to a bean of truly magical goodness.

It is time to head back towards Florence. From the top of the hills we catch a glimpse of Brunelleschi’s dome, Giotto’s bell tower and the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.

We toast to Florence and all it has to offer our eyes and our mouths. It’s really true: the Florence Box is full of tasty goodness!
